My first memories of the WWF

Ok for my first official wrestling related post I will tell a story of a match that was to me the shits with peanuts in it to me. The event I'm talking about is Survivor Series 1990. It was the first of its kind for that year -and also my first time that I remember seeing the WWF product- where the survivors of each match went into the "Grand Finale" elimination match so depending on whether the good guys or bad guys won was how the odds in the match will be stacked. My sisters friend Jaime's lil bro Brandon had the tape. At that time in my life I had no friends who liked wrestling. It was my own world that I lived in and in Palmdale moving from house to house I didn't have to many friends anyway. But the one friend I did have was wrestling. So when I first met Brandon he came to my house and he had this tape and he's like do u wanna watch this but I didn't know what was on the tape so I said yes so we put it in the VCR and wham waddya know it was the Survivor Series. After watching this event I was officially a little Warrior. I wanted to be the Ultimate Warrior he was cool and he had tassels and face paint and the belt was so shiny and the strap was white and man it was a feeling that I remember. I mustve watched this tape everyday on my moms big screen TV. After this my world changed, after all I got into watching wrestling through the WCW and I had seen old NWA tapes my grandpa had. As a lil kid I was around 5 when I first saw the Series this was the circus, everything was larger than life. I went from hearing Gordon Solie's voice that was strictly calling just wrestling and in a monotone to hearing the shrieks of excitement from Gorilla Monsoon and Piper they made me get into the event more. I could go on and on about this monumental event in my life but really who would read it anyways, but I do still have the VHS tape if anyone wants to see it. It even features the Gobbledy Gooker how can u not wanna see that classic moment.
